Redwood Falls MSOCS Complaint Findings for Physical and Emotional Abuse
In a report concluded on February 3, 2015, the Minnesota Department of Health cites Redwood Falls MSOCS for abuse – physical – emotional – staff.
Based on a preponderance of the evidence abuse did occur when the Alleged Perpetrator (AP) slapped, pulled hair, choked, and yelled at and called Clients #1, #2, and #3 names while employed at the facility for approximately two years.
Substantiated Complaint for Emotional Abuse by Staff at Redwood Falls MSOCS
Based on a preponderance of evidence abuse did occur when the AP slapped, pulled hair, choked, and yelled at the clients #1, #2 and #3 names while employed at the facility for approximately two years.
The facility immediately suspended the AP and began and investigation along with reporting mistreatment to law enforcement and appropriate state agencies.
