Five Star Alternative Nursing Woodbury Complaint Findings for Exploitation
In a report concluded on June 14, 2011, the Minnesota Department of Health cites Five Star Alternative Nursing Woodbury for exploitation by staff.
The allegation is exploitation based on the following information: Client’s, including client #1 were financially exploited by a staff person, alleged perpetrator, when the AP had clients/families write out checks out in her name for the cost of care. The checks were cashed but not deposited into the agency’s account. In addition some of the clients’ schedule II medications are missing.
