
MDH Cites Centracare Health Monticello after Resident Injured Ankle During Transfer
In a report from the Minnesota Department of Health it is alleged that a client at Centracare Health Monticello was neglected when the alleged perpetrator did not follow the care plan resulting in a fall. The resident sustained an ankle fracture.
Failure to Properly Transfer Resident at Centracare Health results in Fractured Ankle
Neglect was substantiated. The alleged perpetrator (AP) did not transfer the resident according to the resident’s plan of care, and the resident slid off the bed and broke the ankle and tibia bone in his/her left leg.
