
Bayshore Residence & Rehabilitation Center Complaint Findings for Neglect
In a report concluded on February 13, 2014, the Minnesota Department of Health cites Bayshore Residence & Rehabilitation Center for neglect of health care.
It is alleged that neglect occurred when the facility failed to provide a system to ensure follow through on physician’s orders.
Failure to Implement Doctor’s Orders – Bayshore Residence Duluth
Based on a preponderance of evidence the allegation of neglect is substantiated. Physician orders were not transcribed or implemented in a timely manner for five residents. This resulted in a delay of treatment for the residents and a hospitalization for one resident.
