Substantiated Citation for Drug Diversion Theft at MacGregor Place

Based on a preponderance of evidence, financial exploitation did occur when the AP stole medications from three clients for his/her own use.  The AP plead guilty to the thefts.

Document review and interview revealed the AP was employed at the facility and was responsible for medication administration to the clients, all medications were locked in a cabinet in the staff office and the staff who administer medications carry the key to unlock the cabinet.

The AP plead guilty to the thefts.  The AP did not respond to a subpoena that was issued for an interview.
