Jourdain Perpich Ext Care Facility Red Lake, Beltrami County Complaint Findings for Exploitation – Theft

In a report concluded on October 8, 2013, the Minnesota Department of Health cites Jourdain Perpich Ext Care Facility for exploitation by “other” – theft of pain medication.

It is alleged that financial exploitation occurred when two residents’ narcotic pain medications were diverted by the alleged perpetrator (AP).

The allegation is that staffing is not being provided based on the following: multiple residents have had falls with injuries and residents have expressed concerns about their cares and safety.
