Financial Exploitation at Eventide Fairmont Minnesota – Theft of Money and Jewelry from Client

Eventide Fairmont Complaint Findings for Exploitation – Staff Steals from Clients

In a report concluded on August 15, 2014, the Minnesota Department of Health cites Eventide Fairmont for abuse – exploitation – other.

It is alleged that Clients #1, #2, #3, and #4 were financially exploited when a staff, alleged perpetrator (AP) took money and jewelry from them.

Elder fraud is an act targeting older adults in which attempts are made to deceive with promises of goods, services, or financial benefits that do not exist, were never intended to be provided, or were misrepresented. Financial exploitation is the illegal or improper use of an older adult’s funds or property.
