Compassioncare Moorhead Complaint Findings for Exploitation

In a report concluded on June 4, 2013, the Minnesota Department of Health cites Compassioncare Moorhead for exploitation by staff.

It is alleged that financial exploitation occurred when a staff person, alleged perpetrator (AP) took a $50.00 store gift card from a client and made purchases without permission.

A preponderance of evidence established that financial exploitation is substantiated.  The AP admitting taking a gift card from the client’s home and purchasing items for her own home without the client’s knowledge or permission.
